Interaction with others, and rhythmically coordinated physical movements help to stimulate the brain, whilst also improving fitness, posture and mood. Music choice includes songs carefully chosen to stimulate memories from youth and childhood. Beyond requiring assistance to preserve or improve cognitive function, people with dementia have the same needs as anyone else, such as exercise, enjoyment, relaxation and good company. Our sessions provide all of these.
